In Haryana, Zila Yuva Vikas Sanghthan is actively working in the districts- Panchkula, Yamuna Nagar, Chandigarh and Ambala to strengthen the child protection ecosystem in support and partnership with the district administration and to enable the responses of the child protection agencies including Child Welfare Committee, District Child Protection Unit, District Legal Services Authority and law enforcement authorities to ensure support and assistance to the victims of child labour and child trafficking. The organisation works in coordination and partnership with the district administration to strengthen the prevention, protection and prosecution in child trafficking cases and to ensure that every child has access to their legal rights and entitlements. The organisation is also actively working to prevent and stop child marriages and to ensure that the victims and their families have access to government social welfare schemes and benefits for support and assistance. As a partner of the Child Marriage Free India campaign, the organisation has also been working towards sensitizing community members for prevention and stopping of child marriages and reach out to the religious leaders for their support to ensure commitment to end child marriage in Haryana. In order to strengthen the access of victims to their rights and entitlements, the organisation has been regularly organising training and sensitization programs for the law enforcement officials and the child protection agencies to strengthen prosecution in child trafficking and child labour cases and to ensure rehabilitation support and assistance to the victims.

ZILA YUVA VIKAS SANGHTHAN is dedicated to the development of the deprived people (backward and poor rural women, people with disabilities, child labour, victims of trafficking and violence) of Haryana. The organization is working on the following issue of Child Marriage, Child Trafficking and Child Labour. The organization participated and organized Child Marriage Free India Campaign in Haryana districts in partnership with the district administration.
